Customer Delivery Europe is in the center of the MasterCard Europe organization and the key contact between the Divisions, Operations and Technology, Global Products & Solutions and the other business units. We are close to the markets and to our customers.


The Customer Implementation Services (CIS) group works on a daily basis in a customer-facing environment, drives new and existing products / services to market from a transaction processing implementation perspective. The team is delivering standard and complex implementation activities, with the customer, ensuring high quality service to our customers, applying project management, guiding the customer through the different tasks that need to happen in order to become live in the market and ensuring high reliability of the implementations.
Within CIS there is a specific unit focusing on API driven customer implementations. The role hereafter is a part of that unit called the “API Implementation Knowledge Center”.
Role
  • Playing an instrumental role in the technical delivery/implementation of API oriented solutions and building a domain of expertise on existing and new Mastercard products.
  • Being a part of a dynamic and motivated team dedicated to new technologies with the aim of defining solutions to improve and facilitate the implementation of technical deliverables.
  • Act as central point of contact for customers and/ or MasterCard customer representatives throughout the end-to-end processing implementation project execution.
  • Execute a comprehensive end-to-end processing system impact analyses.
  • Assess and document customer needs and related implementation impacts on customers’ and MasterCard’s processing systems and platforms.
  • Define scope, plan, execute and drive customer processing implementation projects of new electronic payments processing business activities following the global project coordination methodology. Provide customer support & guidance throughout the implementation.
  • Handle multiple key customer processing implementation projects in parallel
  • Actively supporting implementation and delivery managers with an in-depth coding analysis and detailed investigations.
  • Work and partner extensively with our operational teams, product integrators and delivery teams.
  • Provide trainings within CIS organization and to customers and share knowledge to scale up processes and new API products.

All About You
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Exact Sciences, Business or proven experience in a similar role and in a client facing position.
Knowledge and experience: Five to seven years of “Information Technology” system knowledge, with strong understanding of project management.
  • Exposure in & in-depth understanding of implementing APIs, SDKs and developer facing products.
  • Working knowledge of designing, building and maintaining APIs.
  • Strong understanding of object oriented languages such as Java, C#, PHP, Python, Ruby.
  • Good knowledge of SQL databases and XML or JSON formats.
  • Familiar with Cryptography (RSA standards, x509 standards, ciphers, application of cryptography in MTLS, digital signing, encryption)
  • Familiar with Networking, Internet protocols (TCPIP, http(s), ftp(s), routing, content delivery network) and architecture (load balancing…).
  • End-to-end project management experience with external parties on various levels of engagement through emails and/or conference calls/face-to-face meetings.
  • Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels and be an excellent communicator.
  • Great technical troubleshooting skills.
